The Threshold - The Equinox represents a moment when light and dark seem to hold equal measure. But the moment you reach the midpoint is not when you stand still. Instead, you are invited to listen for the harmony within the movement - the way two seemingly opposing forces can move together, each note distinct, neither one dimming the other, the whole becoming richer than either on their own. It is not a pause point in your momentum, but an opening into it. Everything you grew through Spring and Summer is still moving, still alive, still unfolding. The Equinox simply invites a new instrument into the arrangement: the wisdom of the dark, joining the growth within the light, both playing in the same symphony. This week's Autumn Equinox invites us into that harmony.
The Turning - From growth to harvest.
All Spring and Summer long, you planned and planted, reaching toward the light. You built within your work, your relationships, and within yourself.
Moving into the energy of Autumn, the tree does something profound: it keeps its roots reaching deeper while its leaves let go, both movements happening together, in harmony, neither cancelling the other. It draws its energy inward without ever stopping; it releases what it no longer needs and gathers strength for what's ahead.
This week, you are invited to do the same - to let the harvest and the momentum move together, receiving what you've worked for, correcting course where it's needed, and gathering the resources, inner and outer, that will carry your song through the months ahead.
The season ahead unfolds in three distinct movements, each with its own quality and elemental intelligence. I want to walk you through all three now, so you can work with the current in the months to come.
Libra Season | Venus · Air
The opening breath of Autumn belongs to Venus in her Air realm - relationship, beauty, reciprocity, and the highest sense of Justice. Libra season asks where you are in harmony and where you have drifted from your own centre. It is a season to refine, to beautify, to restore the equilibrium in your inner and outer world. Where in your life is one side of the scale tipping? Which relationship - with a person, a project, or yourself - is asking for more honestly and less performance?
Scorpio Season | Mars + Pluto · Water
Scorpio moves us into the depths. Mars and Pluto in Water call us toward transformation, truth-telling, and intimacy that becomes possible when we stop performing. This is the season of the undercurrent - powerful, primal, clarifying. What needs to be released? What wants to be remembered? Let this season ask you the questions you've been avoiding, that once faced, shine light on everything.
Sagittarius Season | Jupiter · Fire
Jupiter's fire arrives inviting vision, philosophy, and bold faith that makes meaning out of what has surfaced through the season. This is where Autumn's harmony resolves into a new movement - expanded, illuminated, still moving forward. By the time you reach this season, you'll have refined what's in harmony and released what needed to go. Sagittarius allows you to take the view from higher ground and let it show you where you're actually headed.
A Question to Carry Into the Season -
You know that the most important work you will ever do is the work of returning, again and again, to yourself. This Equinox, I invite you to ask: Where has my growth been stifled, and how can I open to receiving all that the harvest season has to offer?
You have been in a season of growth, and you may feel the pull to consolidate, to gather in what you have built, with intention. You are aware that something is shifting, and you want to meet it consciously - to close the chapter of Summer with clarity and open the next one with vision, neither rushing ahead nor clinging to the past.
Let this be your ceremony. Light a candle if that calls to you. Write down what you're releasing from Summer and what you're consciously receiving from Autumn. Sit for a moment in the space between the two - the Threshold where so much of the transformation unfolds.
Sending blessings to each of you, to remember the light within, and gracefully receive a bountiful harvest.

Creating an Altar to Hold Your Intentions
Consider building a small altar somewhere you'll pass each day - a windowsill, a shelf, the corner of a desk - it doesn't need to be elaborate. Choose a few pieces - a candle, a stone, a photograph, something from the earth that caught your eye on a walk - objects become sacred simply by the attention you give them. You might want to place something there that represents what you're releasing from Summer, and something that represents what you're calling in for Autumn. Write your intentions on a small piece of paper and tuck them beneath a crystal, or simply speak them aloud to the space you've made.
The altar is not the ceremony itself, it's the reminder. Set it somewhere you cannot help but see it, because intentions have a way of drifting to the back of the mind the moment life gets full again. Let this be the place your eyes land on when you need to return to yourself. Light the candle on a Sunday evening, or each new moon, or simply whenever you walk past and feel the pull. Feel free to move the stone, add something or take something away. Let the altar shift as you do, so it stays alive within the season.
