Lately, I've been playing with the idea of Time, and all we assign to it, blame it for, wish it away, or speed through. When in reality, it can be our greatest gift.
Time gives us space to play, create, learn, and grow. Without it, we would lose the ability to reflect, to understand cause and effect, and the capacity for things to grow - love, affection, expression.
This week, I want to encourage you to sit with your ideas of Time, they ways you fight it, and the ways you embrace it's gifts. Once you begin to understand it in new ways, life can unfold for you in unexpected and welcome ways.
* Look at your schedule, how you fill your time. Are you using it wisely?
* Examine what you rush through, push through. Could it be more graceful and grounded?
* Feel into your impatience and give it space. Could your rushing actually be slowing things down?
* What if Time could become a true friend? Could you treat it lightly, playfully, with respect or reverence? What gifts if Time offering you right now that you are dismissing on a daily basis?
Block off a section of your day and ask what you could do, use, be within that frame? You may be surprised at what comes to you.
And ask yourself what you'd like to dedicate more time to - meditation, slow walks, reading a favourite author's books, cooking or nourishing your body, conversations with people that matter. Time will give you the space for all that you are seeking to experience.
Remember, we have all that we need in order to thrive. Embrace what is here for you, allow it to serve you.
Sending blessings for Space + Time, and the capacity to flow with them.
