Can you feel the call to return to yourself?

Uncategorized Apr 21, 2026

Over the past few weeks (maybe more?), the energy has been more intense for many. Its influence and movement have often felt ungrounded, unexpected, and at times a bit overwhelming. Anytime the world feels this way, I find myself coming back, again and again, to this phrase - return to the space where you experience Yourself.

As we move into earthy Taurus Season, it feels like the ideal time to stop spinning within the energy and remember that this is the weather, and we are not.

So what does it mean to return to the space where you experience yourself?

I think that for many of us, we spend years moving through processes and journeys that begin with figuring out, and shedding, what “yourself” is not. There is a great unraveling of layers, identities, roles, and stories. We grieve these attachments, we wrestle with whether we really have to let them go. And so, the path back to ourselves often leads us through the deepest untruths, the greatest areas of self-denial, illusion, delusion, and resistance. From there, we begin to find our way toward lighter identities - those that hold more truth, more honesty, and more acceptance within them.

Within the archetypal world, I often feel that The Forest holds this landscape. We can feel lost there, where the trees begin to look the same and direction disappears within the branches. But the Forest also holds wisdom, when we begin to truly see what’s there. We’re given a thousand ways to make our way home - the long, arduous path, or the quieter one, where we follow our inner compass, our intuition, and feel our way back.

The truest version of You is always known, felt, witnessed. We simply forget. We move so far "off track" that it feels as though we’ve lost ourselves entirely. And yet, we only ever drift when we ignore the signs and signals that are calling us back.

For some, the way home is through meditation - calming the body and mind, listening again for the inner voice. For others, it is time in nature, which gently brings us back into that same listening. For some, it’s conversation with someone who can hear the truth beneath the noise, where we can speak through illusion and remember the sound of our own voice. And for others, it is a return to true self-care,  honouring and respecting ourselves in a way that reconnects us to the divinity within.

There are many ways back to alignment, back into the space where you remember who and what you are. And right now, it feels as though we are being asked to honour that capacity to remember, and to live from that awareness.

If you find yourself returning again and again, begin to notice the ways you keep “losing” yourself. Through your practices, your boundaries, your awareness, gently bring yourself back before you drift too far from centre. It’s a practice. It’s how we learn. You don’t have to get lost in the forest to find yourself again. You can remember what is at your core, and choose to live from it each day.

Sending each of you blessings to remember Yourself, with acceptance, deep love, and gratitude for all you have experienced, and all that you are.
