Is Intuition Innate or Cultivated?

I’ve been watching the final season of Stranger Things (don’t worry - no spoilers!). In one scene, a conversation unfolds about the difference between a Wizard and a Sorcerer.

The distinction they make is simple and profound:
A Wizard studies, practices, and develops their gifts.
A Sorcerer is born with them - they are the gift.

And immediately I realised -this is the same question I’m asked again and again about intuition:

Are intuitive gifts something we’re born with, or something we cultivate through practice?

I’ve been living inside this question for most of my life.

I was born highly sensitive, deeply tuned in, though I didn’t have language for it until much later. Looking back, I can see how often I felt what others were feeling beneath the surface. I perceived what wasn’t being said. I spoke to people who “weren’t there.” My inner and energetic world was vivid, porous, and alive.

My perception is dialed up more than most, but I don’t believe that makes me special.
I believe i...

Is it possible to be Intuitive AND Grounded?

Intuitive and Grounded - the Sacred Yes to Both

Over the years, clients and students have asked me a beautiful, honest question:

How do I stay intuitive, spiritual, and tuned in, while also living a grounded, human life?

This is one of the most important threads we can follow. It shapes your alignment, your peace, and how gracefully you move through this world. When intuition and embodiment walk together, life feels less forced and more true.

So let’s clear something up first.

Being intuitive does not mean having your head in the clouds.
It does not mean being disconnected from your body, your finances, your relationships, or your responsibilities.

Being intuitive means being present.

It means you are awake inside yourself, sensing your body, your emotions, the subtle signals of your environment. Intuition requires embodiment, and you cannot receive clear guidance if you are not here.

In that sense, to be intuitive is to be deeply, exquisitely human.

Next, let’s...

When good news surprises you (and how you intuitively already knew!)

Good News + how your Intuition helps you focus on Progress (not the Past)

I recently received some good news that I hadn’t been expecting. At first, it confused me - because I hadn’t been expecting it! Then I felt delighted. And then I felt confused again because it seemed like it had been such a long time since I’d felt delighted. So, of course, I started to doubt it a little bit. Could it be real? And then I got annoyed at myself for doubting something that was obviously so good!

I wanted to share this ridiculous roller coaster of emotion that I rode up and down for a few seconds, so I can take you to the realisation I reached after going through it all:

If I had been tuning into my intuition, I would have known that all was well, that the news would be good, and that I was worrying for nothing.

Here’s what I know about why we doubt things, and why we create drama or pain:

  1. Sometimes we do it because the feeling of relief afterwards can feel almost euphoric.

Why I'm Done with "Charisma"

As we approach the end of Leo Season, much of its shadow side has been creeping into our thoughts, behaviours, and points of view. Over the past few weeks especially, I’ve noticed a recurring theme in conversations: I’m done with "charisma". Give me Authenticity - any day, every day.

For decades, I’ve listened to people gush over another’s charisma - the way they shine, the way they persuade, the way they dazzle. And then I’ve watched them fall from their pedestals when discrepancies surface, when failures emerge, when the mask slips.

Their projected charisma, so often, has been just that - a mask.

In its truest form, Charisma is a virtue. When it flows from the heart, it inspires, uplifts, and serves. But when it strays from virtue, it manipulates, seduces, and deceives.

We live in a world that is flashy, filtered, and increasingly AI-generated. It’s easy to be seduced into believing we must be polished and perfect, without flaw, without stumble. But deep down, we all know that is...

Rewiring the Old Stories About Intuition

There are moments that are quiet, almost imperceptible, when you realise your intuition has been speaking all along. Maybe it’s a whisper in the body, a flash of knowing, a subtle shift in the air. For most of us, it’s been buried under noise, conditioning, and the rush to “figure it out.” But when you pause, when you listen, something begins to heal, not just in your mind, but in your own nervous system.

Last night, we held the first call in our series, diving deep into Practical Intuition, a healed nervous system, and the boundary shifts needed to make life feel healthy and aligned. Thank you to everyone who joined live and to those catching up with the replay (you can find it on my YouTube channel HERE).

Honestly, I believe that what we covered are among the most important conversations we can have - here’s why:

Many teachings about intuition are tangled with superstition and outdated perspectives. And for good reason - our ancestors (and maybe we, in other lives) were judged, pu...

What happens when you stop forcing it?

How disrupting your week could help your mind find order-

This week, I deviated from the norm. And it has made all the difference.

Energetically, it’s been a charged few days (anyone else feeling frustration, anger, defensiveness?). I haven't felt much like myself, and I knew that forcing my usual routine would only deepen the resistance.

Over the years, I’ve learned that pushing too hard may get things done—but at what cost? The quality suffers. The experience suffers. I suffer. There is a fine line between making an effort and allowing the effortless to unfold.

I’ve been listening to Ram Dass talk about the dance between Being and Doing. Even on my best days, my mind wrestles with surrendering fully into Being. The part of me that craves control wants to Do.

But I think there’s an art to moving between the two—a rhythm we spend years, maybe lifetimes, learning to trust.

On Tuesday, I sat in Rosslyn Chapel, channeling and meditating on the year ahead. Two questions came throu...

The Solution is in How You Frame the Problem

Lately, I've been meditating on solutions—really leaning into the energy of them. There’s been soul-searching, deep pondering, and, if I’m honest, moments of frustration where I’ve demanded clarity.

Here’s what I know to be true: for every problem, there is a solution. Always. But here’s the catch—if we don’t fully understand the problem, we can miss the answer altogether. It’s like trying to treat symptoms without addressing the root cause.

The quality of our questions determines the quality of our answers. If the questions are murky or shallow, the answers we receive will mirror that. And when the answers feel convoluted or make us even more confused, its often because we haven’t stated the problem clearly enough.

So, let me ask you: how do you frame your problems to yourself?

Digging Deeper into the Problem

Over the past few months, I’ve noticed how quickly I label the things that feel 'off' in my life. Sometimes, I focus on the emotions: This is a problem because it makes m...

How do you know where to go when you can't see the way?

Navigating uncertainty can feel like stepping into a foggy unknown. Your mind may play tricks, your body might freeze in fear, or you could feel the pull to flee. Even knowing where to begin can feel like a puzzle with no edges.

I’ve walked through seasons where I’ve been keenly aware of living in the liminal—that in-between space where one paradigm has dissolved, but the next hasn’t fully emerged. Most of the time, I’ve leaned on my intuition, following whispers of guidance and trusting the subtle nudges. But there have also been moments when I’ve felt swallowed by darkness, adrift in uncertainty, with no clear path forward.

Sound familiar?

When fear seemingly takes over, it creates the illusion of a barrier between you and your intuition. The connection is never lost, but the static of self-doubt and worry can drown out your inner knowing. This can feel disorienting, isolating, even unnatural.

Often, we react to this by freezing or fleeing—neither of which moves us toward alignme...

Are you seeking more?

Hello beautiful beings, I hope that you are feeling light, free, and full of hope for the next 6 months! Eclipse Season ended on Monday, so we've have had 6 weeks to untangle and unfold. What a process it has been! I'd encourage you to reflect on what has changed for you, how your focus or direction has shifted, and what you want to work towards over the next 6 months.

Personally, over the past year or more, I have known that something was shifting, both within me, and in what I am called to offer.

Once I began to design the changes, to talk to trusted friends and colleagues, I began to feel more aligned than I have in years. I am so excited to share all of this with you, but also feel totally centred, steady, and at peace with all that is unfolding. Peaceful Awareness, a beautiful place to be.

Some of these visions are still developing, but I wanted to share what I can with you now. I have included some information below, with links to more. If any of this calls you, or you th...

Are you seeking a Map or following your Compass?

When I 'tuned in' to decide what to share with you this week, I received a question: 'What is on the table?'

This question fits in with so many conversations I've had lately, so it feels like perfect timing to explore. The idea around this question, 'What is on the table', involves taking a look at what is already before you, because it is what you previously manifested.

At this moment, there are people feasting because they spent time creating, planning, working, prospecting. They are feeling nourished by their choices and actions, and are 'fed' by the results.

Many of us are feeling hungry, because the fruits of what we previously created are either no longer producing, or are no longer satisfying.

Sometimes, we can find it difficult to know when to 'be patient', when to act, when to initiate change. For those of us going hungry, feeling undernourished, the time is now!

Here is the interesting bit: If you are doing what has worked before and it is no longer producing, then you a...
