What Are You Now Completing?

We are officially in Eclipse Season, and I've been counting the days. As we step into the portal, I notice that my focus has been pulled toward the past, toward what I began six months ago with the last eclipses, but also around nine and eighteen years ago, when the nodes of fate were last in Aquarius and Leo.

When I think of a lifetime, I see a small linear thread moving from past to present to future. And then I zoom out and see circles and cycles instead, tiny and vast, short and long, daily, weekly, yearly, spanning decades, some overlapping, some moving through others, some regular and some not. It's like looking at music, a single melody set against the entire orchestra, complex on one level and yet somehow, on another, entirely coherent.

I attended a Metallica concert last month and was moved to tears (yes, that surprised me too). What struck me as so profound was that four incredible musicians were each individually playing their hearts out, each carrying complex parts of their own, and yet somehow it all worked together perfectly.

I think life moves this way as well. We may not understand a single event or a single thread of it while we're inside it, but when we zoom out far enough to witness the whole, the harmony can be heard, the movement can be felt, and the heart of the melody begins to emerge.

During an eclipse season, the music and the energy intensify, so that the patterns at hand become easier to witness. You can feel the karma that is ripening, teaching, completing, and you're given a window of space and time to work with it directly.

You may find yourself looking back across the past six months, or nine or eighteen years (or further still) and recognising the patterns, feelings, and story components that keep repeating. And you may decide you are finished with the parts that are discordant, out of sync, or no longer contributing to the quality of life you wish to lead. You get to choose what continues and what evolves, and I hope you will choose from wisdom, courage, and grace.

A few points to meditate on this week:

• What chapter is ending with the Summer? How can I surrender it with grace and gratitude?
• What is with me now that will not fit my future? What does not belong in the future I desire to build?
• Which pattern is at its end?
• What can I set down, to lighten the load and brighten the way ahead?

I hope you'll use this opening doorway not only as a way forward, but as an invitation to leave something outside of it. Honour your future by leaving the outdated in the past, knowing that anything you truly need will be with you, within you.
