You’re Not Confused. You’re Feeling Disconnected.
Confusion is one of the most common things clients and students bring to me. They’re standing at a crossroads with several possible directions in front of them, yet none feel entirely right. Or there are so many possibilities that the sheer volume of choice becomes overwhelming, and instead of moving forward, they stall.
Over the years, I’ve noticed something important: a confused mind says no. When confusion takes over, we often shut down. We hesitate and second-guess. The mind begins spinning through options, risks, outcomes, and imagined consequences, and what began as possibility turns into paralysis.
But most of the time, I don’t believe we are truly confused.
More often, we believe that we are disconnected.
Not disconnected from Soul - that’s impossible. We are souls having a human experience. We cannot actually sever ourselves from our Higher Self, from divine intelligence, from deeper knowing. We are made of it.
What happens instead is subtler. The mind becomes noisy. Fear starts whispering (or shouting). There is too much input, too many opinions, too many variables to manage. In that noise, we lose touch with the quiet signal underneath. It can feel like we’ve lost ourselves, when in truth we’ve simply lost touch with our access to clarity.
The good news is this: you haven’t lost your way.
You are not broken. You are not incapable of deciding. You are not missing some essential piece. You are likely overwhelmed by interference.
And when you realise that, something shifts. The experience of confusion stops being a problem to solve and becomes an invitation to return. To pause, breathe, to gently reduce the noise. To come back into the body, into honesty, into the place where truth feels steady rather than dramatic.
Fear may tell you there are too many options. Intuitively, you already know which direction holds more life.
The mind may argue that things must look a certain way in order to be safe or successful. Intuition often senses the beginning of a path that feels lighter, clearer, and more aligned, even if it isn’t fully mapped out yet.
You might feel as though you are circling the same ground repeatedly. Yet underneath that, there is often a rhythm, a subtle course correction already happening, if you slow down enough to notice it.
As we move deeper into Eclipse Season, the pace of change can feel intensified. Energy shifts, out-dated patterns surface, and old structures feel less stable. This isn’t something happening to you; it is movement asking you to evolve with it.
You can respond by tightening, analysing, and trying to control every variable - which often increases confusion. Or you can soften your grip slightly, remove what is unnecessary, and ask a quieter question: what is most aligned for me now?
Over the coming days, you might reflect on:
Where in my life does confusion feel loudest right now?
What inputs, distractions, or expectations could I remove to create more clarity?
Where am I not being fully honest with myself?
What would help me discern the deeper, steadier path rather than the loudest one?
Which intuitive sense feels strongest for me at the moment, and how might I trust it more deliberately?
Most of us can look back at times of “confusion” and see that the answers were present all along. The clarity was there - it simply required stillness and trust to recognise it. Instead of fighting the confusion, consider that it may be calling you home to yourself.
Sending blessings for clarity and trust,
- Jennifer
P.S. Practical Intuition begins (online) this Saturday at noon GMT. We’ll be working in a small, focused group to refine discernment, strengthen intuitive trust, and reduce the noise that clouds clear decision-making. If you’ve been circling this and recognising yourself in these words, you’re warmly welcome to join us before doors close this evening.
