Can you feel negative emotions without Suffering?

Hello beautiful beings, I hope that you are navigating the end of eclipse season with lots of grace and love!  We are in a powerful portal, leading up to the Solstice on the 21st.  If you are feeling stagnant, it is time to shake yourself up!  If you are feeling lost, it is time to come back home, back to heart and soul.

In the Northern Hemisphere, we are navigating the end of Autumn, harvesting gifts and lessons, integrating the experiences we have lived since Spring, and receiving all that we can, in order to embody the wisdom that has been offered.

From the 21st, we begin the descent into Winter, and into the depths of ourselves.  We turn our focus inward, to recognise the significance of our conversations, decisions, karma, and the courses of action taken.  It is a time for reckoning, healing, and resolution.

As we move into Winter, end of the astrological year, it can bring up strong views on the word Death, on endings, and on 'letting go'.  We can often assume that this comes with pain, with grasping, loss, and fear of the unknown.

I would like to offer another perspective, as a way to welcome these moments with more openness: Resolution instead of letting go.

When we inhabit a world of duality, of give and take, of one for another, there will be feelings of loss, a fear of missing out, grieving what we release, and suffering.

As human beings with emotions and feelings, we naturally feel sadness, anger, frustration, throughout our lives, but do we really need to suffer because of them?

I have struggled with the cold throughout my life, but I had an epiphany a few weeks ago while walking home on a cold, windy day.  I took a deep breath, acknowledged that I felt cold, from head to toe, that my body was shivering, and that I was wishing for sunshine and warmth.  And then I asked myself: Even though I feel cold, do I have to suffer because of it?

In that moment,  I released the suffering, and my whole body changed.  My muscles loosened, I stood taller, I actually started to smile!  The cold was still there, but I was no longer suffering because of it.

Since then, whenever a feeling or condition has arisen, I've asked myself the same question- Even though I feel frustrated, sad, disappointed, do I need to suffer with it?  It has made it easier to delve into the emotion to work with it and understand it, without getting caught in drama or distortion.

This has also really helped me to integrate a deeper understanding of Acceptance and Resolution.  I can accept the current state without fighting it, and I can step into a higher perspective, which offers more complete resolution.  And Resolution is now what I seek in every situation.

For me, resolution takes us into The Deep Now, where time elongates, the past releases attachment, the future is unwritten, and like a chord in a piece of music, it changes into harmony, peace, and deep beauty.

Resolution can honour the final phase of a paradigm, a death, an ending, while offering an opportunity for change, enlightenment, and for rebirth.  It offers a higher perspective of a healthier potential and a chance for 'better', more aligned, beyond what your logical mind or conditioned past can understand.

So over the coming weeks and months, I would encourage you to work through these changes with the awareness that you can look to the future with hope and love, without suffering through it the paradigm you are navigating.

A few questions to support your enquiry...

* What in your life is connected with suffering?  And do you need to suffer as you work through it?

* What from your past are you wrestling with, what do you feel stuck in, limited by?  And what would support its resolution within?

* Which obligations can end, providing space for resolution?

* How can you see death/endings differently?  Which attachments can resolve, creating space/possibility for a more loving paradigm?

Grace becomes a part of anything we are willing to resolve.  It requires strength and courage, and a desire for something more.  Not just trading one for another, but an invitation to wholeness, and completion.
