Hello beautiful beings, I hope that you are feeling the benefits of yesterday's Pisces New Moon, AND the beginning of Eclipse Season! The energy of change is palpable, you can feel it around you, and within. This is such a powerful time to focus on your healing, growth, and potential for change.

It may feel easy to get excited about the end result, the outcome you desire, the prize at the end of the journey. But when we consider what it takes to get there, we can feel daunted by the journey itself.

The journey of change (not TO change), is one that requires courage, a willingness to face our fears, and to surrender the inner conflicts and judgements that are preventing the outcomes we seek.

It is a moving process, a cycle of endings before the beginnings, and time within the liminal, where we may not have all of the answers, direction, support, or fulfillment that we believe would comfort us, or keep us 'safe' along the way.

If we place all of the reward at the end...

We have reached the end of Venus Retrograde but are still witnessing its effects playing out within our lives. The 6 week transit highlighted where our relationships were failing, our quality of life is low, and how what we allow may be out of alignment with our deeper desires. For many, it was a difficult 40+ days where sadness and anger were triggered, old traumas surfaced, and a mirror was held up, enabling us to honestly examine the sources of our suffering.

It has been a great reminder that we often wait for things to deteriorate or self-destruct before we address what we may view as overwhelming, confusing, or difficult to navigate.

We can all look back at our lives and recognise times when we shied away from an opportunity to address an issue, to set a boundary, or have a difficult conversation. We could have leaned into the challenge but allowed the drama to play out and grow.

Hello fire dancers and soothsayers!  Who is feeling the power of the Fire Element at play this month?  Leo season has a unique quality that makes it particularly potent.  We are approaching a power day on 8/8 (the Lion's Gate), which is the same day of the New Moon, so even further amplified.  And we are between two Aquarius Full Moons, connecting with air, which feeds the fire as well.  For any of you waiting for a 'good' time to create, manifest, purify your self or your life, now is the time!

I see this time of year as a period between, not quite a rebirth, but a dying of sorts.  Death often evokes fear of loss, a degree of grief, as we release what is known.  But these periods of death invite powerful liberation, an opportunity to shed the old, to become more free.  We often strive for the new beginning, a new way to feel or live, but until we allow the old to die away, we are unable to fully embody the light and lightness or the dawn.

Allow yourself to take some time to immerse yourself in the waters that will wash away what no longer thrives.  Swim deep into yourself, into your dreams, your intuition, the aspects of you that fully understand your capacity to relinquish what has held you.  This requires courage, a...

How much ‘patience’ do you employ before you hit your breaking point?

I think that most of us mistakingly allow others to take advantage of us under the guise of patience. Over the years I have repeatedly asked or begged for patience, wanting to feel calm and compassionate in the presence of abuse. I asked for patience with people who lie to themselves and the world, when I was delayed because of another’s choices, and when a friend began to push my boundaries, and then to shove against them.
I believed that I needed to be more patient in these situations, but patience was not the answer. The answer was courage. I needed courage to choose a response that would influence the dynamics that had become increasingly unbalanced.
